a hole in the driveway or sidewalk...

looks like the concrete has been covered with a gravel look treatment...

It looks like a paw print when it was freshly paved.

it looks like a hoof print, but the material does look like cement... so perhaps a sidewalk with a rock removed...

were there any others near it? ... if so, then I would have to agree with Mel, who says it looks like a paw print .... made in a freshly paved sidewalk

if not .... then I would have to agree with Emmet ... thta it looks like a rock removed from the sidewalk ......... Of course, we have no idea how big this hole is .... but the material definitely looks like my old sidewalk in front of the house .... and it has lots of small rocks missing from it ..... then it started to crumble, so I have to get it replaced with a more modern type of concrete ....
