Looking for Vampire books I have yet to read!!!

Ok so I did a search on www.bn.com and here are some authors I found out about... I would love to hear if anyone has read anything by them and what they thought

I've heard of:
Lynsay Sands
Rachel Caine
Katie MacAlister
Raven Hart
Patricia Briggs

I've read a few short stories of a few of them (Sands, Caine, Briggs and maybe a few others) and they weren't too bad. I have Raven Hart's book on my shelf to be read so I don't know how good it is, but got it on the recommendation of a fellow vampire book lover. I've heard a lot of good things about MacAlister.

Don't remember the authors names but there are a few classics you might want to look "The Hunger" and "A Particulart Type of Dependency".

the only ones I have read & loved were Anne Rice - she is a wonderful writer

I can't tell you anything about the author's listed sorry, but I can recommend
"Gil's All Fright Diner" by A. Lee Martinez (the name is purely coincidental here).

It is a humorous story with a redneck vampire named earl and his redneck wolfman friend Duke.

well worth the read.
Thanks for the recommendations... I'm not a big Anne Rice or Stephen King fan... Thanks much Vikki M... We seem to have much of the same taste in books :)

Lynsay Sands books are fun and often funny, even her ones that are not vampire books.

Katie MacAlister has some enjoyable books too. They're not on the same line as say Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris or Kim Harrison but they're still fun to read.
