Charming thoughts for Bogie, the charmer. I found your use of space interesting because I've done that. In the 1980s I wrote a poem titled "Teilhard's Psalm" in which I used words and space to depict Teilhard's view of evolution. The poem was to be read from the bottom up and formed a diamond.

1. Carefully re-read the poem (not being influenced/distracted by any cuteness overloads). You've got the syllable count down perfectly. And you've included a nice pattern of logic to tell an enticing story. I am sure many treats will be forthcoming, for the pup and the poet.
2. This year's list for the AKC Top Ten Favorite Breeds in the US just came out. Boxer is #6. Quel surprise.

Aaron, thank you! Sadie and Bogie and Spike all are famous friends by now. Rusty, old and dignified, looks on amused. Buddy will always be missed, and can never be replaced in our hearts.
