Birthday Wishes for Ruth P.

Today is Ruth P's birthday, I have left the questions in tack and her answers are written below them.

1. Tell me a little about yourself. Are single, married, have children, Grandkids, where do you live?
-I am single and live with six cats. Which are part of the family. I live in North Carolina. {Interesting tidbit: My family both sides have lived here in North Carolina since the 1700's} I would like to get married one day, when my soulmate finds me. {another tidbit: I don't believe in dating so this will have to be by God}

2. Do you work outside the home and if you do what do you do and for how long. Maybe you may want to list several jobs you had in your life time.
At this point I don't work. I have worked as a cashier and deli clerk before. My dream job would be being a Youth Minister and use the Arts as a form of thearpy.

3. How long have you been writing? Do you write professionally? Have you been published if so where?
-I have been writing since I was a teenager. I am not professional. I do keep my writings in notebook.

4. What first inspired you to write?
-I was inspired to write as a form of release and expression of how I felt.

5. What are your hobbies?
-My hobbies which I long to get back into is ceramics and pottery.

6. What are some of the things you like e.g. walking in the rain (name at least 2 things)
-Two thing that I like to do is 1. Snuggling up with a cat or two when it is cold and rainy outside. 2. Escape into a good book, where only you mind is the limited to the journey.

7. What are two of your pet peeves, e.g? people who are constantly talking on a cell phone.
-Two of my peeves are 1. Children who don't know how to behave in public and the parents seems not to care. 2. People who use abuse as a form of control and power over someone.

8. What social issues concern you and why?
-One issue that concerns me is: Why do people get away with abuse of any form from the homefront to globally.

9. Briefly talk about one or more important events that already transpired in your life?
-One event in my life that sticks out the most is when I was depressed, it made me realize how many peolpe cared no matter what I said or done. It has made me a better person since then. Show how past event can mold a person into something of not their choosing unaware. We all are overcomers no matter what we have been thru, when we come out we can help others on the simluar path. We can even prevent things from happening.

10. What is the one thing that you would like to do that you have not already done?
I would like to before I pass on to go to Wales and Holland and see were my ancestors are from before they come to America in the 1700's and experience the life and ways. If they are any different than they ways here in America.

11. What is your favourite birthday memory that either you had personally or shared with another? please tell us about it.
- I can't think at this time what a favorite birthday memory would be personally not with others.

12. If you could have any birthday wish come true, real or fiction, possible or impossible what would it be and why?
-If I had one wish to come true I would wish that I lived among the Elves in LOTR during the peaceful times. Since they we so beautiful and had a wonderful heart. I would be married to the Elf Legolas {I like Orlando Bloom, "blushing"} I would have a magical powers to end sufferings and abuse of all kinds.
