Pleaseleave the first name of the person in your life or on Gather, or aninitial that you have prayer requests for, +you don't have to post thedetails, our God is an Awesome Omnipotent God who hears our prayer and knows what they are and who they are for.Ifyou don't want your gather or real name to appear, you can make therequest in other words like "Sleepless in Seattle" I understand that somepeople want to be anonymous and sometimes an initial is all they wantto put. Prayer is prayer and some people and their needs cannot befully disclosed, God knows the why but there is no reason, even with aslittle information as initials that we can't still offer up prayers. Dear Lord,

Thankyou beloved Father for the gift of your son and his sacrifice so we canbe forgiven of our sins. We thank you for providing this path for us todwell with you one day in paradise.

As we continue to celebratethe gift of your son through the year, we ask for a peace to come overthe earth and that all will be drawn to your love.

We thank you for hearing our prayers. We thank you for all you are doing on our behalf in our lives.

Wepray for our world and we pray for all other nations, and we prayforAmerica! We pray that America which was created looking for yourguidance and blessings will get back on track and that the lives of allof our citizens will improve this year even though what we are seeingin the news gives us a grim outlook. We walk by faith and notbysight.We ask your guidance in the election of our leaders that youwill guide them in their decisions, We pray for our troops, the men andwoman making sacrifices so that our freedoms are intact. It isheartwrenching to hear each day of those young people who have paidwitht heir lives or have been severely injured or disabled for life,please be with them and their families,

Lord,wepray for the victims of crimes, that you will not only heal themphysically, that you will also heal the trumatic damage they endure .Lord,please help the married and unmarried expectant woman. Send themsupport, love and understanding for them and their unborn children.Lord comfort and be with the mother who lose their children and theones who lose unborn children. Lord, please help the hurting who findit hard to trust or believe in you or anyone else. Lord please help allof us when we go through challenging times that stress us out, help usto find your peace of mind. Help those of us that have survived thehorrors of the abuses in our childhood that still haunt us and depressus, help us move into acceptance that it happened and a inner knowledgethat we didn't deserve what happened. Help us choose not to repeat themistakes of others and heal our mental and emotional scars.

Lord, give us all more understanding and patience for those around us. Give us the wisdom to
see beyond the surface of a situation to the heart of the matter. Let us have the compassion that you have towards others. Especially those who are different from us, Lord. we pray for our lives that you will heal our bodies and meet all our needs.

Lisa Frost asks prayers as her friend ShellyM. Loppnow passed away at age 42 from cancer on Wednesday leaving herhusband Brian and three children. Shelly was active in her church andhad a good heart. She will be very missed.

Especially for Kathleen and the baby sheand her husband have been waiting a long time for. We pray for all onGather who are hurting right now. We pray for those struggling withdiseases like cancer or heart disease, aids, mental health issues andthe handicapped who struggle with their challenges. Lord open otherseyes so they can see that the disabled are people with feelingstoo!Please help all our veterans. Many were permanently injured orsuffer from the nightmare they lived through, guide others to reach outto them so they don't feel their sacrifies were in vain. Lord giveusall blessings and show us all your love through others. Use us toshow yourlove through us too! Lord let us know and feel your everlasting love in our lives .Weask that you will grant us love in our lives, We all need love. We askyou to help us all through all our trials and tribulations and draw uscloser to you. Guide us in our lives as we know you know what is thebest path for us. Your will be done. Lord there are many we knowthatare strugging financially and can't afford to pay bills or buytheirmedicine, please guide those in financial trouble out of it. Theseare trying times Lord, so many of our friends and neighbors arestruggling,please help their lives to improve in 2008. We ask that youtouch the hearts of those involved and end the war bring our troopshome soon!
