In an article by Las Vegas Revew Journal, Hillary is quoted as saying,
A man shouted through an opening in the wall that his wife was illegal.
"No woman is illegal," Clinton said, to cheers.
Is this just Hillary pandering or does she have no clue on the importance of immigration? It is getting real old hearing Hillary say anything people want to hear just so she can pick up a few extra votes. Electing a President should be a serious decision not people running around trying to make everyone happy.

"We treat these problems as if one is guacamole and one is chips, when ... they both go together."
Now that's speaking the language!
Otherwise, this sure reads like a "hate Hillary" thread.
From what I've seen, Hillary's views on illegal immigration have been pretty consistent regardless of who she's talking to.
Hillary = pandering. That's an axiom.
I wouldn't know. I haven't tracked every word she's ever uttered on the subject. I've heard of one instance where she said she thought Spitzer's plan made sense, then she denied she said it, and now says she opposes licenses for illegal immigrants. If you've got more examples, I'd be happy to take a look at them.
At the end of the day, I don't know if anybody's done any polling on it, but my guess is that a flip-flop on drivers licenses for illegal immigrants isn't going to cost her any votes. I'd say most of the people who think that's a significant issue were never going to vote for her anyway.
immigration being only a small part of that choice.
Every time a candidate says he or she is going to cut taxes it is a major pandering to their audience! They know that is an irresponsible claim. When they say they are going to "win" the war on terror they are pandering. It's the great American pastime!
