This recipe, from the allrecipes newsletter, sounds fantastic! It needs just a little bit of help.
Instead of spaghetti sauce, why not try Alfredo sauce as the base? I also wouldn't simmer the artichokes and garlic together, but just sprinkle them over the sauce and bake. And more tomato for me, please.

Good call, Sue. Can't go wrong there.
Bummer, CC. I loves me some garlic!
Sambal olek does that to me, CC. But I still eat it.
LOL! Not quite that. I just meant that I have some *ahem* intestinal upset for a day or two. By now, I've learned to pop an Immodium about a half hour after eating it.
I'll email it to you.
And if this situation is like all the other ones, that recipe will be back. Every once in a while I piss someone off and they flag a bunch of my recipes. They all get released.
1) I think you have more than an oregano fetish (organ-o?)
4) My name is not Missy
f) And I actually agree about the spaghetti sauce part. Not quite right.
Just an off side observation here, Shan...I don't see any cooking shows sponsored by antacids, if you catch my drift! That's what that stuff is, right? You should NEVER admit to having it on hand! LOL
Hmm, have you ever tried simmering garlic cloves in olive oil.?
I use garlic salt, and garlic powder from the spice rack sprinkled on the base or pre- mixed in the olive oil with some Italian seasoning :)
Jenna, the flavor of garlic after simmering in olive oil is the BEST! Dip in some fresh baked bread.. oh yeah!
Thanks for the feedback and comments :)
We loved the taquitos. Thanks so much for that recipe! Am a bit hung over today, and that doesn't usually happen to me, but we polished off the Skyy last night while watching Woody Allen's "Deconstructing Harry." Today will be spent reconstructing Sue.
Glad you like them. I wondered how they turned out for you :)
Okay, now I'm hungry...
