For the last couple years,
Caring for Mom here
I'd ducked sneezers, and coughers,
Hidden from snot nosed kids
In shopping carts.
So yesterday when for the second day running
I woke with a sore throat
It was almost a relief
And a comfort.

I understand...
like giving yourself permission to be, literally to be human again...
Hugs my dear friend...
Spartan's right keep yourself clean and lots of vitamin C and liquids.
this was about the emotional healing process from living with the stress of a very ill family member to take care of, one who was fragile enough for him to be extremely careful about not getting sick and bringing the cold home... and the relief it is in a very personal way to not to need to worry/stress/egg shell walk in that way anymore... it is truly bittersweet becouse he misses his dear mother, but is relived of the worries he formerly had.
(((Hugs))) to you. Hey, take some vit C, drink lots of water and get some extra sleep. Don't be gettin' real sick on us. Ya hear?
spent 20 hours in bed yesterday, feeling better, going slow.
this weekend back down working on Mom's craft room....
special thanks for you Larr...
so there for your not!
I wish I had a craft room, well I did, but I let my two grandsons take it for a while.
It was worth it.
But i do miss my craft room.
Hugs always Doc.........................

Part of your susceptibility is the emotional load you have been operating under for so long and on so many fronts.
Hot fluids, a bit of protein and pets lovin' on you - and of course a heaping dose of Gather - you will be back at it in no time!
Once well, be well!
