Life is Filled With The Unexpected...

Life is filled with the unexpected...

the surprises,

the twists and turns,

the half-truths,

and lies of those

who pretend to know what's best

when they know nothing at all.

Life is filled with the unexpected...

the friendships,

the comradarie

the sharing,

the simple truths

of those who know the meaning

of integrity.

Truth can be shaken

but for a time;

It always comes back with a roar;

Integrity cannot become lost

because it is rooted in all

that is pure.

Truth needs no banner,

integrity needs no forum;

Sharing continues

amidst the lies;

Courage and honor

will make their way

through rivers of tears

and heartfelt goodbyes.

Life is filled with the unexpected.

Thanks everyone. I was just thinking that so often...things in life turn out very differently from what we thought they would. We find unexpected gems and blessings in places we didn't expect, and vice versa.

So right on the mark for these past years for the country. It is difficult to find truth in all the rhetoric and spin. When truth shows it needs no introduction. Vigilence and integrity along with truth will be the saviors of freedom. Peace!
