Intuition, Do You Use It?

Yes. I have had experiences with Dejavu`pretty often. I believe it is a part of being intuitive. I think for me it is a way that I stay on the correct path in life. I am a pretty deep feeler and have had a few situations that called for a quick decision, without intuition I would have made the wrong choices.

Definitely, and I use it all the time! Sometimes you just know things are going to work out... and sometimes you just feel in your bones that they won't.

Of course, is intuition a self-fulfilling prophecy? Do we psychologically make things happen because we feel in our bones that it will? Does it matter?

No matter. I follow it, whether I'm writing something or trying to figure out someone.

I won't say that my intuition is always right... in fact I may be hitting 50/50 on it being right. But for some reason, I trust it.

I believe in it, and I pay very close attention to it.

As far as I can remember, my first impression of someone has never been wrong.

And if that feeling in my gut tells me something's about to happen, I listen very closely.

I think I use it too much and because of that Kyle pretty much stays home alot because "I just know something could happen!"

I believe we all use it even if we do not believe in it. It is that little voice in your head that tells you something is wrong. Sometimes we listen and sometimes we go about our day. I am sure we have all had the feeling that something was wrong all day only to find out that something bad has happened. Some call it a coincidence and some call it intuition.

Only when a woman is around. I just press her 'intuition' button. (grins)

I believe that we all have it to some extent. Most just don't know it. I use mine quite often. It comes in handy at the oddest times.

I believe, and I use it. Sometimes I will meet someone, and my intuition screams at me to stay away from that one. My intuition is always right!

Ha ha My husband just told me this morning I need to work on using my intuition more.

All the time and when I go against it I am usually left with kicking myself,you know where.

One Should ALWAYS listen to their gut or pay the price later for being a fool. Easier said then done. : - )

I have an uncanny knack of 'knowing' people through my intuition upon meeting them; sometimes, even before I greet them in person...just by a picture or speaking with them. I know who I don't care for...and there are a lot of them...going on intuition alone. (There are a few I get such a good feeling about, I let a friendship progress.) Add this to my finely tuned 'gaydar' and I'm rarely wrong about others. My best friend seems to always go against his intuitions and in the end, wishes he had listened to his inner voice.

Usually if I have a bad feeling about something it turns out to be right.

Absolutely. When I act against it, I regret it.

yes I do beleive in it and act upon it..my husband says I am crazy for it..

my daughter called the other day and asked her how her relationship is going with her husband (has been very rocky for two years now) and she said fine but gut told me not so fine.
I questioned her about her answer, and she said "Mom, I can't stay with him anymore" and so we had a long talk about options. Anyway when we said goodbye, she said Mom " you always call me when I am thinking about you, how do you do that?". My response was "my gut told me too!"

I have friends who always commnet to me "I was just thinking about you when you called, how do you do that?" See the pattern? My clients say the same thing when I call or pop in to discuss projects.

Yes, I believe in intuition, however other peoples extreme feelings most times disturb me and I have had to learn how to cope with this feature of my intuition.

I do follow my intuition often, but not always.

deborah,you can find many books on blocking others feelings.i used to have such a problem with this,i also had a problem with energy vampires.theses are people who suck you dry with all thier problems.they don't realize what they are doing it,but you have controll over how it effects you.have you ever read the celestine prophecy?the story is good but it talks alot about energy,it explains how to give energy to others without draining yourself.you might find some books on phsycic protection helpful,the library may even have one or two.

I have no intuition and so, of course, never follow it. I have always been able to tell, as far back as I can remember, why I feel good or bad about a situation or a person. When I don't like someone there are reasons I can list. When I am uncomfortable about a circumstance I can say exactly what it is about that situation I don't like.

Just lucky I guess.

we all have intuition, regardless of how we label it. In fact, I offer classes on paying attention to your instincts, gut feelings, intuition, etc. Because when we do, we are ready to notice opportunities and possibilities that are around every corner!

I always listen and pay attention. Personally, I don't feel that there are any coincidences in life and that everything happens for a reason.

It hasn't failed me yet, so I use it! Trust the gut!

I have very strong intuition, and there have been many instances when my intuition has played itself out. This has happened so often that my family takes heed when I tell them I have a "feeling" they should or should not do something.

I definitely try to listen to my intuition! I think it's a good thing to listen to! :)

I have a hypnosis tape that was made for me that helps me protect myself from "energy vampires" and the likes. I use it every morning when a feel an attack is immient. I would love to put it on cd but atlas I am unable to because I don't have the technical know how.
I have read alot on intuition, however if anyone wants to list some of their references for my reading pleasure.

only in the instance of knowing when someone needs encouragement. but then i don't call it intuition, i call it God's voice.

Hi Tom, never heard that one before, interesting definition- looking up in the dictionary

I never really knew what intuition was for most of my life even though I thought there just might be something beyond simple logic and rationality, those things related to the 5 physical and objective senses.

But then about 14 years ago I had a spiritual awakening that came out of the blue, extremely subjective (but with many objective qualities also) ... that being the first opportunity for me to make experiential comparisons between what most consider "normal" reality (the objective version of "out there") and the transcendent possibility of the INner subjective (INtuitive) 6th (or zero) sense experience that some call from the "heart" or the "gut" ... those being but metaphors for the Total Balance which actually INcludes BOTH the objective as well as the subjective ... but is mostly subjective ...

INtuition is then SPIRITUAL, an INput from that "realm" (which I call the microcosmic) as opposed to the OUTer realm of the macrocosm (the small and the large from "some" perceptions).

It is important to know (or have) the "proper" understanding of the Spiritual Realm then IF one wants to trust their INtuition ... because without that they may see a negative aspect to such and have negative experiences.

I have actually written a whole book about this to which INtuition is central to all real knowing ... www.spiritcalls.us it is something the whole world really needs to know more about because it is more REAL than what most take for real.

A lot of times if I don't follow my gut feeling I regret it. So yes, I believe in intuition and am trying to listen to it more often!
