Hillary Clinton could be the nominee

I think the republicans should want for Hillary Clinton to be the democratic nominee, but a co-worker of mine has said that he doesn't even want that woman to possible have a chance at becoming the president.  I think she'd be the ideal candidate for Huckabee to go up against.  She does have more negatives than Bill Clinton does/did.  I think if she were the nominee, she would be damaging to the democratic party's chances of winning.  A possible good outcome could be the independant run of Bloomburg.  It's not certain that he would win, so why would he run?  Who knows?

I'm not a Hillary fan, but I'm not a fan of a lot of the nominees at this time, either.

I hope she gets it, too, and that she wins. There seems to be an irrational hatred of her spawned by the far-right that no one can seem to substantiate with credible facts. It's unfortunate that people have not looked at her past accomplishments and her real platform. If somebody disagrees with her platform and has an issue with things she has done, then let them disagree with her and not vote for her. But this irrational hate is just childish.

I have mixed feeling I don't want her to have any chance of becoming president but then again if she wins the nomination I think there is a better chance that the Republican canidate would win.

Sheryl, It is her past accomplishments (of which there are few) and her platform that create most of the anti Hillery speach. Her platform as she outlined contains, No Health Insurance = No Job and $3,000 for every newborn for a college savings account. Both of these are "pie in the sky" and if attempted would cause a lot of problems. Then she wants Universal Health Care. That with the others would have us paying over 50% taxes and have a government run health care system. Our best Doctors would never go under a government program. How she balances the no insurance = no job with universal health care she has not explained.

Then there is the issue of her sealed records. No one will trust a candidate that hides her past records.
