OK, so with three dogs in the house I am always on the lookout for good, nutritious treats for them. When I purchased a small bag of this stuff back in November I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
The product is Waggin' Train Brand Chicken Jerky Tenders for Dogs. Only, in my house, it isn't just for the dogs. Our cats will fight you for a piece of this stuff.
I usually buy the large bag, which is about 2.5 pounds and is 100% chicken. NO fillers.
Now, my older dog loves his Milk Bones. The other two could care less about them. But when I open the jar that has the jerky in it, I instantly have the attention of all three dogs AND the four cats. I have to pinch a piece into tiny pieces and put down for the cats or they will literally stalk me until I do.
Because of where the bone/treat/jerky jar is (on my kitchen floor because it's so big) it's the funniest thing in the world to have seven furry faces all trying to stick their nose into a hole the size of a saucer all at the same time.
When I say "Sit" even the cats sit and rather impatiently wait for me to dole out the slices of this stuff.

It's like cocaine for dogs. They're addicted. I ran out the other day and had to get some on the way home. DH said they were all in the living room plotting my demise if I came home empty handed.
When I came in and set the bags down and turned my back, Daisy and the twins were IN the bags rooting for the stuff and managed to recognize the package and pull it out of the bag, then SAT on the floor looking at me and waiting for me to open it!
Oh, and for the record, I tasted the stuff, just to see.
I have to say, it was pretty damn good.
Anyway, if you're not sure about the stuff and are thinking about trying it, I suggest caution. Your animals will be plotting, too.

So far, thankfully, we haven't had any issues - just addicted little faces.
Julie... the bad thing about cheetos is all that orange evidence stuck to your fingers.
Fran, that's one of the reasons that most of the time, my dogs are fed what I cook for them with a combination of raw meats. They are rarely ever fed dog food. First, I just can't seem to find one they'll eat. I've tried everything from the cheapest to the most expensive stuff on the shelf and they just turn their noses up to it.
information.
maybe i can get 'em hooked on woodchuck anal musk glands?
