Woke up this morning...

ugh, got the Soprano's theme song stuck in my head now.

 so, i think i have to admit that the little tickle in the back of my throat is not a result of my smoking too much over the weekend, but is in fact the start of a cold.  :(

any home remedies for helping get rid of it faster?

I don't know if you are into the holistic approach, but anytime I feel a sickness coming I take COLOSTRUM and Vitamin C. I will feel better the very next day and it will ward off sickness really well. Once you are well into the cold/flu it doesn't really do much but maybe shorten the illness.

sara- my grandmother used to give us a teaspoon of honey with a squirt of lemon on it to sooth a sore throat. yum.

the garlic i will have to pass on, i'm allergic to it.

I'm not a doctor, but I gargle with warm salt water. Another tip my father gave me was Tylenol for when I feel a sore throat coming on. If you catch it in time it will stop it from coming on any further. Try that and see if it helps. Good luck Miranda.

Honey is good, especially local honey. Put some in a nice cup of hot green tea.
