The votes are in.
The primary is over.
Well, A few more votes still have to be counted.
The people of New Hampshire had their say.
They cast the majority of their votes for Hillary Clinton and John McCain.
Congrats to them both.
On Monday, I wrote about the number of Hillary supporters in New Hampshire.
There were just more of them, and they were vocal.
Her signs were everywhere.
I guess it worked.
Hillary was reported to be behind Obama by as much as 10 points the night before.
Obama's people came out in very large numbers during the night before the primary, and they were all business.
I liked what they did.
They were out and about on Tuesday.
Two even came to my house.
I talked with them.
They were nice, smart, and honest.
In fact, they were a mirror of Obama.
You can't help but like the man.
He did not win New Hampshire, but he will win a lot of states in the coming weeks.
On Monday it was Hillary, but Tuesday saw a turn around in the number of supporters out there.
Obama was on a roll.
I thought, as did many, that Obama would pull it off.
He did not.
I think the reason Hillary won, was because she has had a great deal of exposure in New Hampshire over the years.
The people here know her very well.
They have come to like her.
They trust her.
They liked her husband as well.
Remember that the Clintons have been coming here since the early 1990's.
All of that carries over.
It is tough to beat all that.
But Obama came close.
This is going to be an exciting year.
I do not like John McCain.
But New Hampshire does.
He is well liked and respected.
He won here, so I give him his just due.
There is a lot of politics ahead for every candidate.
I wish them all the best of luck.
Some need more luck than others.
One of these four will be President of the United States:
(One may even be a Vice President.)
Hillary Clinton.
Barack Obama.
John McCain.
Mitt Romney.
George Vreeland Hill. (No, I'm not running!)

Obviously I don't like those results. Both winners are not anxious to get out troops out of the Middle East and both are Globalists. Both will Bankrupt the US if they get the chance and both buy into NAFTA and their Super Corodor as well as SPP and the NAU.
If it's not going to be Obama, please let it be Edwards. DONT let it be "that woman"!
Dictatorship+Socialist=Democracy?
I do think it's a good thing that the candidates, the candidate' people, and the media go to Iowa and New Hampshire first and spend a lot of time. Too many media and government types spend too much time in the beltway, and in the big cities on the east and west coast and it blurrs their vision and world view. They need to see real people, in real towns, facing real life issues far removed from the glamour of Washington, NYC and LA. And it's too bad that they normally won't be back for 4 years.
I suspect that all the media attention is something the people of NH could do without.
