Once again, the drive-by media has got it all wrong.
If you believed everthing the press was telling you, Obama was the second coming. He stole all the headlines and mag covers, and we floated him high... and the bubble has burst.
Poof goes Obama!

It was the smirk that won me over. j/k
He's a proven leader in business and government, knowledgeable on world politics, well spoken, and I like most of the domestic policies he's spoken about thus far. He's the best of the Repubs and I've listened to all candidates from both parties extensively on C-Span.
There is still Michigan and South Carolina. Obama could return. Interestingly, my precinct captain is for Obama. He claims that the Chicago organization is coming out for Obama. The Chicago area is pretty powerful even though our primaries don't get much attention. So, what I'm trying to say is that it is not over until it is over.
Obama actually needed to be deflated for his own good. It puts him back in a fighting mode.
This is turning out to be a good election year so far. Well, except for poor Ron "I don't like black people" Paul ;)
But now, people will take a long hard look at Obama and his record. They will see he has little to offer besides great speeches and short, catchy, and vague words like "change" and "hope." The dirt on Obama is going to come down hard on him and his campaign. Hillary survived. I wonder if Obama can?
I don't put too much stock in the two primaries that have been held thus far. The northeast and midwest are losing more and more people to the south, southeast and southwest. Wonder why? Wait till we all have spoken a bit and then get your hopes up. South Carolina is going to be the one I watch.
Amen to that. I think N.H. did a good job of leveling everything out and getting us back on a sane process. Way to go New Hampshire!
We need to be aware that not only have politicians gotten too full of themselves ( in both parties ) but the media has also gotten too full of themselves ( in all outlets ).
The press is trying to pass the buck to the pollsters. The fact is, when pollsters are right, the press takes credit for their predictions, when they are wrong the press jumps off that band wagon ASAP.
Let's not miss the golden opportunity in this election cycle to get politicians and the press back to doing their real jobs instead of manipulating we the people.
If Obama tries to get down in the gutter with the Hill-Billy machine, he's a goner. But how do you just "rise above it all" when Bill blatantly lies about you?
You have no other choice but to defend yourself................and that's when the "machine" pulls you under........
I wonder if Obama has developed thick enough skin yet?
