sigh, I know, there are trolls everywhere.

But ironic, isn't it, that I can check the comments(and rating) left for me one night, return the next day and the rating's dropped--with no comment? I don't expect many to like what I write, but it'd be nice to know who I've rubbed the wrong way, and how.

No matter how we "grow", we truely never get to leave high school behind, it seems...oh well, pick on me again. Just leave my kids alone... :|

It's always something. Sometimes I can guess pretty much which group I dared to peeve by expressing my opinion, sometimes I can't and I just assign fantasy motivations to them: they're jealous you write well, they're jealous you have a family and people who care about you, they're jealous you get comments and they don't, or, oh, dear god, you made them think and they feel threatened by the unusual processes going on in their brain. ;)

Having been at Associated Content for a year, I've learned that ratings have very little to do with content. I've been downrated more times than I can count. I've always been flattered that they considered me that much of a threat. :)

Well, that happens to me sometimes and usually it doesn't bother me at all, I mean who cares, but one time it did, someone did a drive by 1 on a picture of my husband walking my daughter down the aisle, and both have passed away in the past five years, that one hurt, otherwise, they should grow up, sad what they need to do for fun? is that what it is.

The REALLY funny thing is....

I haven't been here for a few days, and ALL of my articles ratings have dropped like crazy!

If they don't like being "called out", why do they keep on doing it?

Think I will stop using the ratings system.

If a person is going to ding your rating, the least they can do is let you know why they did it. They might disagree with your content or not like your style or...or anything, I guess. I think it would be fair to let you know and give you the chance to rebut or edit if that's what you felt like doing.
