It's a balmy 70 degrees a welcome change after our chilling December with it's ice storms and snow.  We're taking down the rest of the outside decorations and welcoming January.  This is more like life in the South.  How is your weather and what are you doing today?

Mine is the same but than again I'm in the same city. We did yard work yesterday or my husband did anyway.

I think we are staying in today or maybe going outside for a little while.

It's just cold here right now. Yesterday, we had snow and wind (75mph according to the local paper). No plans, other than to be on the computer today.

the weather is supposed to be in the 50's today and even warmer tomorrow! i will be home today trying to get rid of my cough that i have had for a week and a half!

it has been in the 30s and 40s here which is not the norm for January. We still have snow on the ground in places

We counted three red birds and three blue birds playing in our trees this morning. A good sign!

It's 38 degrees out and raining.

I'm sitting in my motel room just vegetating. A little football. A little internet.

I know. I know. It sounds like I'm wasting my day. But, it's only one of 3 days I get off this month. And the work days are at least13 hours. So nothing feels pretty good.

But, it's all good. The overtime is paying for my next Mexico vacation in 50 days.

It's pretty warm here today ... Was quite nice. Have class later on and all I did earlier was go to church.

70 sounds nice but it is not the norm and a sure sign that (the day after tomorrow) is certainly on the way. It is 48 degrees here and while it is comfortable I wish for the 20 degree days because that is what it is supposed to be like.

It got in the high 50's today, which was nice for a 2 hour walk in the woods. Supposed to hit the 60's for the next two days then drop back down again. We were in the teens prior to this.

Let's see ... today it's been kinda chilly. I've opted to stay indoors. I've gotten three loads of laundry done, folded and put away. I've gotten last year's books (for my business) ready in its spreadsheet for taxes. I've even made a cake for my hubby to greet him home. :)

It's warmer here than it was, but it's still cold. I've had my head buried in shelter work both all day yesterday and today. I feel like I work and work and never get anything done!

It was warmer here today. Don't know how much though, stayed inside the whole day. I did crack a window here in the computer room though for a while just to get some fresh air into the house. I left it open a half hour or so until it started getting too cold.
