My granddaughter's birthday is coming up, Jan. 11. She will be 8. My daughter and I were discussing what we shoulkd do for Zoe's big day. Due to school and work schedules, we couldn't seem to get a free day near the 11th.
I mentioned to Sarah that Busch Gardens is open on New Years Day and that the park would be virtually empty. I went on line, bought the Season Fun Passes for 3 adults and 2 children. Printed them out and got the kid's excited by telling them that they were going to Busch Gardens. Excited, they were, as they had never been there before.
On New Years Day, the park opened at 9:30a. We got there at 9:45 and there might have been 50 cars in the lot. Amazing!
Went over to a Kiosk and ran one of the printed receipts under the bar coder and all 5 Fun Pass Season Tickets printed out with each ticket individually assigned to one of us. Gotta love technology!
Here are some pictures of the grandkids, my daughter and myself (thanks to the photography of my hubby.)
If you live in the Tampa Bay, Florida area or are planning a visit, you don't want to miss a trip to Busch Gardens.

Here we are. From top to bottom: Sarah, myself, Zoe and Dominic.

Zoe and Dominic just "Monkey"ing around.

The Rhino-Rally takes you on a "treacherous and exciting" journey through the Serengeti in a jeep with a guide and several other "explorers."

The "Tigress" and the "Snake Man"

The Land of the Dragons. Fun for kids and a great resting place for Mom, Nana and Boompa.
