On Christmas Day, I had a lot of cooking to do. My youngest son must have taken pity on his poor Mom (me) and decided to lend a hand in making the corn souffle. This was his first time "helping" with a meal. He is one of the cutest assistant cooks I have ever seen. :)
He's so good, he can stir one handed.

But sometimes you need to use two hands.

Assistant Chef Cole says, if you accidently get some on your hand, it's OK to taste it but don't put your hand in the bowl after that.

A good start here...I ended up with 6 cooks, all grown up.
I started posting the recipe. I have the pictures to go with it but I'll have to finish it after I get my youngest son to sleep.
thanks for sharing your day with us
I can see it on his face, his hands. LOL It is good you
teach the boys how to cook many Moms don't do that.
get all the stuff for what I was going to make. Each of
them had a job to do like the oldest breaking the eggs
putting them in the big bowl. Then the next one to add
the cup of sugar, and right on down till it all was ready
to mix. I did everything by hand no electric mixer and I
let them all have a turn stirring the batter when it was
all nice and smooth. Fun times!!
