Live from Manchester...

Hey friends-

We're done setting-up here at Milly's Tavern in Manchester, New Hampshire. Our debate watching/blogging party kicks off at 6pm and runs through the end of both debates. Come on over and join us for some free food (a beer or two if you want to hit the bar) and watch the debates on the wide screen tv's with other Gatherers who love politics and care about the future of America.

If you can't make it, join us here online at election08.gather.com! We'll compare notes all night long.

Thanks for inviting us Tom. It will be nice to have a front row seat at the debates. Maybe we will learn a little more about our favorite candidates, or not so favorite.

Ok gang, it's standing room only here! We have staffers from McCain's office, the Kucinich campaign, a group concerned with global warming, and a lot of NH locals who couldn't get tickets for the debate tonight.

What a great experience! I would love to be there with you. The last time I was in New Hampshire was in July 1969 when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon.

Besides the outcome of the primary, I'd like to know the names of the people in the photo.

I'll be paying attention to your reports.

Anyone notice how many of the republicans said we need a program like the one that put a man on the moon to achieve energy independence?

Anyone notice that it was a government program that accomplished that?

The Republicans are advocating for a big gub-mint program? Ah, progress...

Tom you should have let me know you were going up there... you could have stoppped in North Andover, MA and picked me up.. since I have no car... and would have loved to go and hung out for it. :o)
