January Praise Reports

I am kind of feeling my way along here in doing these things... but I think a monthly "praise report" will work.

For now I know that work is relatively steady for me. I'm not getting rich but I am bringing in what I need for the moment. That is sufficient and I'm content.

We've had some health challenges, but I thank God that I am well enough to do what I need to.

Also, in looking at last month's praise report, I can say that I am still in the running for the job... but won't know 'til the end of January now due to a hiring freeze at IGFA. In the meantime I've offered to start as a volunteer on weekends so she can begin to train me.

; )

How about you? What's good in your life? Don't feel like you're "tooting your own horn" here... if you have been blessed by the Lord this past month, please share!

Yep, all we can do is all we can do. Keep trying until we make it. That is a lot to be thankful for. Spring is coming.

Hubby is back to working for now the lay off is done. Now he is working 12 hr shifts. Prayers have been answered hopefully this will continue, or at least fulltime will.

My mind is shifting to be more in with God. I can see the small changes over time. What an awesome thing...I can't describe it, I'm just happy no matter what my circumstances. I trust now that all will be His will.

I am grateful for another Holiday Season I could share with my elderly parents and very sick aunt!

I'm making some major changes that I pray will make a difference in our planet. I'm searching for every way I can go go green--not because of global warming, which is still in debate, but to stop landfill and ocean pollution from destroying this beautiful earth.

At the wonderful age of 70, I hope to undo some of the destructive things I've done. As of today--no more plastic for me, unless I can't avoid it. Tom Hunter's article about the continent of debris in the Pacific Ocean made me realize what plastic bottles and plastic bags and plastic this and that can do to harm our world.

Sorry--didn't mean to get off on a tangent but I am grateful that I have realized the importance of my helping have a cleaner Mother Earth. Similar to the one I had in my childhood.

When you have a chronic illness, a connection to God is so very important. But it's just as important that one have human connections. If getting out of the house is difficult, we turn to the internet. Gather is such a blessing for so many who suffer from illness - me included!
Right now it is hard to see what is good, my Mom passed away on Dec 26th. But I know that I have a wonderful family, a pretty good job & a house that we all love. Many positives even in the midst of sorrow.

Thanks Mary. I'm all for the reduction of plastic... not only on a personal level, but in production as well.

Priscilla, you have our deepest condolences... I know it's not easy for you right now.

I think you already know, Lydia, that everyones prayers worked for me. I am about to be employed for a month and I still love it. Next week I start traveling. Something that I have never done as part of a job but I am very excited about it.

I can testify that prayer works and that I am so grateful.

i believe in positive energy and positive thinking, or some sort of prayer or meditation helps one feel more optimistic, and usually helps things turn out for the best

My husband is out of the hospital and home at least temporarily. He does not have cancer and they were able to cauterize the mass on his liver with laser surgery. He will have to go back in a few weeks for the other surgery but that should not be too bad. We are getting the houses fixed also. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

I was blessed in that my life was spared/saved. IF I had not gone in for that early ultrasound I would have bled to death and died within two days.

I'm just greatful to have the happy life I've got.
I'm thankful we found another apt.that hopefully isn't infected with mold as the one we have now. Hopefully will be moved soon. My prayers go out to all of you, may the blessings of the Lord be your comfort.

We got our client all lined out to go get her daughter. I am really happy over this one, this is the first client to find us without being on the internet.
