If you did, now is about the time where people are saying to themselves "what should I do with this thing!?!"
If you did not, then perhaps you're asking "should I replace this?" Well, that depends.
Now is your time to ask your questions. Don't be shy. I'm glad to help. Reading those books rarely helps anyone.
Or, if you just want to vent about your computer, Internet access, messes or other gadgets, you can do that as well.
Happy weekend everyone!

Fun thing is, I haven't even plugged it in yet. Six weeks in Mexico followed by emergency flood repair work when I got home means I've been in the house for 6 days in the last 60.
In another 3 weeks I'll be home to paly with the new computer. So, it will almost be like I got one for Christmas.
I have clients that let their computers sit in the box for up to a YEAR, what's up with that??
Over Christmas I actually left it at home for a whole week! By the 5th day I was missing it but enjoying the time with family and friends.
I can answer the question of "how do you go five days without a computer?"
You go to a Mexican village that doesn't even have phone lines for 6 weeks. Then, when the one satellite internet connection in town goes down, you have no choice.
Jennifer, sorry to hear of your computer. Maybe you could look on craigslist or ebay for a cheap one until you can get a better one or buy one on credit (no payments for 90 days) until you get on your feet. Good luck!
Now we are saving for a new laptop. My husband got his for his HS graduation back in 2003.
Occasionally I have questions about different progs, generally photo stuff, which he is clueless about. I'll have to direct my q's to you!
We almost walked down the street to a bookstore that had wi-fi but there just didn't seem to be time. When we were in the airport on our way home we started to hookup using my husband's computer but they charged over 7 hours and we only were going to be there for less than an hour.
We arrived at our other daughter's house she hooked us up and I sat up for way too many hours to try to catch up on e-mail, gather on other activities.
It was nice to spend the time with my family.

I've never shopped on Black Friday, but next year, I look forward to it, since I so think I wouldn't be pregnant next year, but who knows? LOL...
Michelle
