ok, we were talking to my husband's best friend and his wife and theirfamilies and a bunch of other people, and they all go on a cruise everyyear(in november or december). they invited us to go, and they get better rates when largegroups sign up. i would LOVE to go with them, but as far as i can figure, it would cost about $1300 (non-group rate, 2 adults one child) plus air-fare (from ks to fl) so i'm not sure it will be affordable for us even if we save all year. HOWEVER there is a gift card available through gather that i think i could use toward the cruise (comes in $100 or $500 increments). i will post a couple of chat/game articles and try to get some more points. i would really really like to go!

It would be alot of fun if you are able to go
Make sure to check with the place they book through, because they may not accept those types of gift cards. I'm not sure how they work.

I've always wanted to go on a cruise, but they're just too expensive to be realistic.
