ENCHANTING THE LADY is now available in bookstores, Walmart, Kmart and Target!
ENCHANTING THE LADY, the first book in the exciting new RELICS OF MERLIN fantasy romance series, hits stores January 1, 2008. Merlin's thirteen relics-jewels that the sorcerer Merlin crafted, each holding a different spell of power-connect these fantasy romance novels. In author Kathryne Kennedy's alternate Victorian reality, titles are held by the inheritance of magical powers, with the higher title possessing the more powerful magic. The only power greater than a royals' is one of Merlin's thirteen relics, and their location is as mysterious as the spell each relic contains.
The first novel, ENCHANTING THE LADY, is Felicity and Terence's story:
In a world where magic ruled everything, Felicity Seymour couldn't perform even the simplest spell. If she didn't pass her testing, she'd lose her duchy-and any hope of marriage. But one man didn't seem to mind her lack of dowry: a darkly delicious baronet who had managed to scare away the rest of London's Society misses.
Sir Terence Blackwell knew the enchanting woman before him wasn't entirely without magic. Not only could she completely disarm him with her gorgeous lavender eyes and frank candor, but his were-lion senses could smell a dark power on her-the same kind of relic-magic that had killed his brother. Was she using it herself, or was it being used against her?
One needed a husband, and the other needed answers. But only together could they find the strongest magic of all: true love.
Subsequent novels include DOUBLE ENCHANTMENT (releasing September 2008) and ENCHANTING THE BEAST (releasing early in 2009). Each novel revolves around a different relic that draws two new lovers together in this magical Victorian era.
Readers and Critics alike praise ENCHANTING THE LADY:
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY calls it "simply delightful, set in a fantasy-touched Victorian England that's imaginative, historically vigorous and ripe for further adventures."
BOOKLIST says: "the novel takes a number of fairy tales, most notably Beauty and the Beast, and delightfully turns them on their collective ear. Playful prose carries the reader through this well-crafted, sexy romp of a story sporting an engaging cast."
Award-winning author ERIN GRADY says it has: "The imagination of JK Rowling and the romance of Julie Garwood all rolled up into one fabulous novel."
ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY gave it a 'Perfect 10' and calls it "phenomenal...one of those rare and wonderful books that will leave a smile lingering on your face long after you're done reading."
SINGLETITLES.COM, HUNTRESS REVIEWS and ROMANCE JUNKIES REVIEWS all honored it with a rating of 5/5 stars.

The Book Review
Jimmie: I'm not sure. I was told that the article had to have news value. This article is a press release I distributed through PRWeb. I went to your profile and noticed that you did have several articles showing your (very lovely) paintings, and they weren't blocked. Hmmm. Do you have a website that offers your paintings for sale? Then you could put in that link with your articles, so you're not directly selling through Gather (which is what I imagine they want to avoid). You can set up a free website through Yahoo, just sign up for an email account and they'll give you a create website option. (And you're so talented, I would imagine you could create a visually stunning site! Let me know if you create one.) I hope this helps.
I would like to say sorry for taking a while to get to your article. I have been away from gather for a while and I am finally getting to the 3000 plus emails I have awaiting me on here to go through. so I am starting from the most recent received to the first I ever received.... So now I am finally able to read your piece. Thank you for sending me the link to this article.
Now second thing:
Congratulations, and good luck with your book. I hope you have great sales. It looks very interesting.
Glad to have you back, Felicia!
A big thanks to you as well, Cortney.:}
how exciting for you... Blessings always...
Trish, the Walmart by my house just pulled out their stock this last week, and yet another Walmart had their stock on the shelves in December. So I guess it just depends on the individual store. I know that ENCHANTING THE LADY is in Borders, B&N, Waldenbooks and several Indie bookstores. Another lady was looking for it in MO...she found it on the shelves a couple weeks later. I'm sure it will pop up at your local store soon. Thanks so much for keeping an eye out for it.:}
I will look for your book!
