a few years back I decided to try to learn what I could about my natural world...already a hunter ( and I did kill,drag ,skin and butcher the meat )and fisherman(woman),I wanted to know about edibles wild grains and greens...then learning handcrafted bygone skills seemed a good connection,candles made from beeswax, made my own protective hand cream,learned how to decorate with porcupine quills..brain tan hide...all kinds of stuff! still learning but no longer hunt as now I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian 360 days of the year..we have a free range turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas....

Danielle many years ago I took a class that encouraged personal growth. Since then I have loved learning. I don't learn a certain subject only but anything that comes my way. It really enriches my life! Every moring at work I give out a "useless information" to my felloe workers. One day for example I told them where the bullet ended up that killed Lincoln.
