I'd like to ask all friends and family to please pray for Walter, Gracee and I. I have a simple prayer request which I hope wouldn't be too much to ask for. Recently, today, Walter and I had vehicle trouble and could barely make it to our OB/GYN (baby doctor) appointment. Not only as you all know, his hours have been cut for his current deli job, and today when I got home on the bright side, he received a phone call from a local gas station he filled an application out for, asking them to call him back. So far, he is working at his deli job and is hoping for a position with atleast full-time or upper part-time hours, since they cut his hours horribly down to 20 range which as most know isn't suitable with gasoline prices and a family on the way. So, I'd like to ask everyone:
Can you please pray that Gracee will be well, happy, and healthy when delivery comes? And that WIC will stop giving me the run-around and finally I will get on WIC for formula for our child?
Car troubles- can you please pray that any car troubles we have will be uplifted? We tried putting anti-freeze in it, as my father helped us with, but I hope this is just the problem and that our vehicle will not have anymore trouble.
And, last, but not least, I'd like to ask: Can you please pray that my man will get a suitable job, with atleast full-time hours and benefits and that if its not at the gas station that has called him, that atleast they will have respect and see he is a decent worker?
I'd like to thank all friends and family for all support and, please, if you would, pray for these 3 things.

I understand about getting the run-around from WIC, they are difficult to deal with at times. Stay persistent and hopefully you will be able to get what you need from them. Also, the suggestion above for registering for various baby websites is a good one. I had a lot of freebies when my son was born. On occasion I still receive diaper and formula coupons, and my son is turning 8 in 2 weeks!

Prayers are always helpful, and there are times when we all need 'em. Would you please return the "car trouble" prayer for Walker and I, as we are also having some vehicle-related inconveniences? No clue what the heck it's about, just that Walker is relying on a co-worker to get to work, and I need to hitch rides with them, to get into town myself, because the cafe here just closed. Please pray that our bank loan comes through, so we can BUY the cafe, and Walker and I can own a business closer to home. That would be great for both of us.
