How did you enter into 2008?

Hello everyone !!!! Glad to know we all made it safe and sound into 2008. I would love to hear from everyone. How was your night? How did you spend it? Who did you spend it with?

I went to see a movie in the evening with a friend of mine. We went and saw Alien VS Predators. It was an ok movied but .. not what I was expecting thats for sure. Sort of seemed to drag on  .. not enough action I guess. I still had fun regardless because my friend Abe and I always do!  :)

After that I came home. I had bought some different dips, snacks, a sub, chips, and some other goodies for me and the kids. Then we all sat down with each other eating the snacks and laughing and giggling. We played a few games .. watched some movies. Then all of us fell asleep in the living room around 2 am! My kids and I had a great time!

Once in a while we would peek outside to see all the snow we had falling! We got like a foot of snow that night .. and then some more last night!

I was so glad to have New Years Day off of work. My oldest daughter and I went to Home Depot and used my $25 home depot card from Gather. We got storage containers to pack and organize some of our stuff in for when we go to the new house. We also hit some of the Christmas clearance and got some cool Christmas decorations for next year! Then when we got home we all played in the snow .. my and the kids and our dog .. and the two puppies. It was a great day!

I stayed in and gathered until 11:55 and the put the peas in the crockpot and went to bed,I had to cook the next morning and needed the rest.Gald you had a safe night.I hope your New Year is great.

We stayed home all day and did a few things around the house, mainly cleaning. Our entire household was asleep by midnight!
I went to bed at 11:15 Central time, but saw the ball drop at 11 eastern.
Watched a movie & had pizza for dinner.

I went over to a friend's house and played some games and then watched the ball drop. We went shopping yesterday as well. There weren't as many deals as I thought there would be but it was still fun :)

I sat home alone drinking vodka and cider...toasted champagne at midnight...then went back to the vodka. I fixed Italian parmasian pork chops and fries for a later dinner after midnight...and went to bed around 1AM. I had the rest of the champagne for breakfast along with my coffee and sat around home alone all day. Not really a big deal...kind of like every other day with me.

Myself, hubby and son stayed home and snuggled. I made pasta for dinner, then we watched Superman Returns all snuggly and warm.

I snoozed off before midnight but they woke me and they went out on the front porch and did some poppers (with confetti in them). Yelled Happy New Year and then we all trooped up to bed.

It was a great family night!!!

Rob .. that doesn't sound to healthy! A champagne breakfast! ;)

Although dinner sounded yummy! Too bad I couldn't have joined ya!
we had some friends over and my son had his friends over-we had B-day cake for him at midnight and then went to bed! Same thing every year! The next day I cleaned up and my family came over for more cake for Kyle and we played Apples to Apples-his new game he got-and ate pizza!

We went shopping on New Year's. We found some pretty good deals. We ordered Chinese food to go. Elliott fell asleep in the car, so we put him in bed as soon as we got home, and my husband and I just hung out together for a while. We both played online after we had dinner. Elliott woke back up at around 1045 so we fed him and we watched the ball drop at 11 (we're in the central time zone). Elliott stayed up until it was officially 2008 in our time zone. He kissed me, his daddy, and both of our dogs, and then he went to bed. My husband and I stayed up a while longer and just hung out.

I woke up New Year's morning to my cat Gracie peeing on my head! She has been a perfect cat for the 4 years we have had her, so I have no idea what got into her that morning. Maybe she wanted me to clean her litter box? But what a rude way to tell me! I had to wash my hair, throw away my c-pap headgear, and change my bedding. What a way to start the New Year. The rest of the day was pleasant and relaxing. It was spent teaching Dakota (pit bull pup) not to chew on my cats. Now all the cats can run free in the house and he doesn't touch them. YAY!! Today he learned not to touch Snickers (my poodle). We couldn't go for our usual morning walks due to the snow. :(

I was online doing Gather, Netwinner and that type of thing while watching the ball drop on TV. My hubby was passed out way before midnight so I just let him sleep. It wasn't the most exciting but I enjoyed myself anyway!

I stayed home and was in bed by 10:00 PM! I was not sleeping however, because of a party next door and their exhuberance for noisy fireworks.

My boyfriend had to work the next day at 6am, so we didn't go anywhere. I had chips and dip. I talked on the phone with my best friend as the new year arrived.

I was working getting the one of our trucks ready to plow. I really hate snow now. I've managed to sleep a whole 3 and a half hours in the last 2 days. I'm considering moving to somewhere without snow.
