Well, I had my first back-slide... already, sheesh! But, I certainly know for sure what one of my weak spots is... yup, onion rings! Might sound weird, but I love those things, especially with a good horseradish based dipping sauce.
So, of course, when my hubby made some, I just had to have a handful. He is, henceforth, banned from the kitchen LOL
Dr. Tea suggests discovering your food triggers and weak spots, so I'm well on my way now, I guess with that ;-)
On a better note, the rest of my food choices for the day were very, very good, I'm still drinking tea, tea, tea, and more tea, and I got a start on my walking today :)
The one thing I've noticed is that I am feeling a lot my hydrated and that my elbows, which are chronically dry year-round, are softening up. Interesting side effect... I'm sure a lot has to do with the large quantities of water I'm consuming along with the tea, but I do drink a lot of water in the summer to, so I think maybe some of it has to be the tea, too? Whichever is responsible, that's awesome!
Happy New Year everyone!!!
Hugs,
Barb

Good luck on your diet and happy new year!
Oh, if you want to send me your address, I have a ton of tea and I would like to send you a few of each. I'm not sure which teas you can or can't drink so let me know if there is anything off limits.
Thanks Bob! I think some foods you just have to accept as "must haves" but I'm thinking it'd be easy enough to limit my portions (as I did today) and make it a very occasional treat.
Thanks J and Amanda! I appreciate your support! Potatoes I can live without, though I do love seasoned red potatoes... made the right way, those aren't too bad. I'm going to have to try a tea version :) and will let you know the recipe I come up with.
Thanks Michelle! You are so right, I should focus on those positives! That's very lovely offer too, wow! Thank you! There aren't any teas off limits, just that herbals without tea, we have to add tea to to get the benefits (as a lot of herbals don't contain any tea- something new I learned!)
Hugs to all, you don't know how much your kind words and support mean to me!
Barb
Karolyn, David, and Teresa, we'll have to get together sometime for a treat, then :)
Thanks Teresa!
Hugs all,
Barb
It sounds like you are doing grand with this diet. Good luck!
