Prayer Chain, link 8

The first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh links of the prayer chain are all still valid, as are the links spidering off from them.

I would like to begin our prayer requests, from now on, with prayers for our troops, government and leaders WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for them to be enlightened and wise.

I've been horrendously busy but as often as I can I am going to try and find some of the prayer requests here on gather that have not yet been added to the chain. Please don't forget Heather's daily prayer list!

Doc has asked that we remember his friend 'Skippy' who's having surgery tomorrow for breast cancer. Please let me know if you havea any other requests to add, or add them in the comments section.

My friend Juli had a car accident and has been experiencing headaches and double vision. She is seeing her doc tomorrow.  Also... she is brand new on gather, so please help me welcome her!

My dear old Friend Skippy is going under the knife for breast cancer in the morning (2nd),... please keep her in your thoughts...
as the 'ex' of a cancer survivor I know what this means.

Also would like to send out a praise report. My husband had the special liver scans that they were waiting to do and they found out that the mass was not cancer. It was some kind of blood clot which they were able to do laser surgery on to cauterize it. He is coming home tomorrow and then he will go back in 2-3 weeks for another test and then he will still have to have the surgery on his stomach. But at least the cancer scare is over and that part is done. Thanks for all the prayers.
