You can waste a lot of money on iTunes

I got an iPod Nano for Christmas, but prior to that I had been an iTunes customer for a couple of months. I think the general idea behind iTunes is a good one, but some of their prices are way too much. For what you'd pay to download a movie or buy an audiobook off iTunes is too close to the same cost for owning a physical copy of the same product. Since the stuff you buy off iTunes has absolutely no resale value, I find it harding shelling out the amount they want for some things. The 99 cent songs are still a good deal, but the rest seems a bit over priced, in my opinion.

But you pay for the convenience of having it on your computer to watch over and over again. I do not listen to much music so torrents are better for me.

Yes, you do have the convenience, but it is also quite easy to rip music and audibooks from the original discs to your computer. Even Windows Media Player, which is totally free, will do it for you.
