I have found the ultimate coffee table book for gun owners. It's from photographer Kyle Cassidy, and it's called Armed America: Portraits of Gun Owners in Their Homes. The author/photographer met a political analyst one night and their discussion about capturing the 'gun vote' let him to wonder what kind of people own guns. This question resulted in a 15,000 mile trip all over the United States where he met with various gun owners and photographed them in their homes. You'd expect the guns to be the focus of the photo, but it was really the people. Their responses to why they own a gun were as diverse as the subjects. This is a very fascinating look into an aspect of American life that is often misrepresented and misunderstood. Highly recommended!
