My husband's band has a gig tonight, so I have no choice but to go out. I have to get up at 5 and go to work, so I have to take it easy or I'd be able to fill this comment thread for you.

Maybe a beer or two and a glass of champagne at midnight.

I would love to have a taste of sparkly but it's not advisable due to medicines and medical conditions. I might persuade my hubby to go to the store and get some sparking cider that hasn't been fermented.

I suspect my hubby will drink a glass of wine.

Bettween my wife and I; a sixer of a Belgian import beer called "Hoegaarden" (funny but true), and a bottle of brut cuvee by "Barefoot Bubbly".
I've never heard of the import. It's a white beer (never heard of all that). I am not an import drinker but I thought I'd be adventurous. Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all get to kiss the right person at the ball's crash tonight to ring it in. I know I will. It's been the right one for 5 New Years now. May you all find what I have tonight.

Pretty much always stick to beer, my favorite and don't do all else very well, Chill or Miller Lite, but for variety someone talked me into a shot of Tequila, I know not to have more than one, it isn't pretty, and the midnight toast with Champagne of course.
