I've had an irregular mammogram and have to go for more testing. My sister was diagnosed with breats cancer in 2007, so I'm nervous. Please pray!

Husband needs a new job. He's been laid off this past week. He just borrowed money from my daughter...money set aside for her class this winter. I'm raving mad at him for even thinking of borrowing from her. She's just too nice to say "no!"

Happy New Years Eve Everyone. Hope Everyone Has A Great Year. I plan on having a better new year. And staying out of hospitals that just see me as a number and a pay check not as a person that deserves respect.

I'm ranting today because my computer has gremlins. I'm also discovering how much I use the backspace key. Today, with I hit backspace, it erases the entire line. I tried using the arrows in the middle of the keyboard, but they take me back and forth between web pages. (Never did that before either.) So...if I make a mistake, I have to reposition the curser myself (with the mouse) and try to delete the wrong character. Sometimes it doesn't work. Grrr.

Marilyn, You may be holding the back space key down to long. as old as our comps are and I think yous is about as old as mine I am learning when you hold it down to long without thinking you are it tends to stick without you realising it. Try pressing down slightly and a bit more gentle with one finger instead of a few fingers as some folks do on that key. Hope it helps.

Nope, it's not that, Angela. It just decided that it would now delete entire lines of text - here on Gather or anywhere. Plus the arrow keys decided they would replace the back and forward buttons.
