While walking the boys today, 
I became interested in the different fungus I found along the way. So many times I passed these little growths and never paid any attention but today they couldn't be ignored. The first colorful little bunch that caught my eye was nestled at the base of a path side tree.
A few more caught my eye tucked inside for safe keeping from the snow and cold.
Now looking for the little gems, I searched out some tiny little whites growing on a fallen log.
Finally, looking up at the woodpeckers flying over head I was rewarded with this smiling face and darling little additions to my quest. I hope you enjoy them as I did.
