The first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth links of the prayer chain are all still valid, as are the links spidering off from them.
I would like to begin our prayer requests, from now on, with prayers for our troops, government and leaders WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for them to be enlightened and wise.
I've been horrendously busy but as often as I can I am going to try and find some of the prayer requests here on gather that have not yet been added to the chain. Please don't forget Heather's daily prayer list!

I have a prayer request for my Parents who are both down right now. My Mom has an upper respiratory infection with the flu and bronchitis. My Dad's arthritis is really causing him horrendous pain in his right leg and can hardly walk. He went for an MRI today and are afraid that at 76 he may need hip replacement surgery.
Apart from these requests, I would like for us to join you in praying for our country, our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, and our Government of which we should all be united for inspite of human errors. Standing united we can defeat our enemies and become better equipped for the future.

Bob C posted an article the other day about a woman that lost both her grown sons in the last 3 months!! One in a motorcylce accident and the other was found at home in his bed the day after Christmas. Please pray for this woman and her husband. Bob C works with her and says she is an amazing woman. She is his boss.
I ask for prayers for my son who has symptoms of heart disease, at least I think he has because being a heart patient I am aware of the signs. I am praying he will see a Dr. and have it taken care of if he does have the problem.
