This year was our first Christmas with our son, Robert James.
Here is a picture of our Christmas tree on Christmas morning. There is a leappad from Uncle Robbie and Aunt Darlene. A stuffed duck and reindeer from Nana, a barn toy from Uncle Bob and Aunt Pam, and two big gifts from Uncle Jimmie and Aunt Nancy.
Robert James wasn't sure what we wanted him to do. I put him down in front of the tree and he just stared at it.

Then he dropped to the floor and turned tail to get out of there!
This was the first gift he 'opened'. Well, actually I opened the gifts because he was way too overwhelmed.

He did seem to like his chair, but as my husband noticed, he kept trying to use his left hand to turn the pages. When he is sitting the desk is on his right side, so it is slightly difficult for him. Maybe we have a lefty...his Daddy is a lefty and so is Uncle Robbie.

The last gift we opened was the rocking horse. He was quite excited about this, but he was still really overwhelmed. Overall, I think he had a very nice Christmas. Now we are getting ready for his first birthday.
