If you live in or around the Phoenix Arizona area the local Romance Writer's of America chapter is having their bi-annual writer's conference in April 2008.
I'm still deciding....I can only do one major conference a year and I'm holding out for the national one in San Fran.....of course...since I'm on the board with Desert Rose I'm *required* to go. *sigh*
I'd love to meet you there though....and anyone else who can make it! ;-)
Would like to go, but alas, I must work. Maybe, if I ever begin making enough money from writing to take some time off, I will be able to attend one.(said humorously)
Yes Julie, the one in San Francisco is in July and held by RWA national. I'll let you know if I'm a definite to go (I won't know until after March) and for sure we'll hook up! Looking forward to it. I think Judi even said something about a gathering.
I really enjoy conferences but the only way I could attend this one would be online if they had a virtual participation option. Not quite the same as being there.
This sounds like fun... maybe by next year I'll be ready... or as my son lives in S.F., I could go there and kill two birds with one stone (love a good cliche!).

Happy New Year. Hope you have a great time at the conference. I loved the Willamette Writers' Conference last year, but Arizona's a bit far. Still dreaming about the getting published bit.
Thanks for the info. I'll be in one here around that time. It's nice to know where these conferences are. You can't always depend on some of the out dated sites.
