Daily Whine & Shine - December 27, 2007
by Marilyn Mackenzie
Here is one place where you can rant, vent, complain, throw a tantrum or stomp your feet without criticism. If you suffer from one of many invisible illnesses - like fibromyalgia, lupus, depression, bipolar, chronic fatigue, and the list goes on - then you can certainly share your daily trials here.
Just as importantly, though, this is a place where you can tell of your victories and celebrations - large and small.
Need someone to laugh or cry with you? You've come to the right place.

Hey, Larry. Howdy.
{1}I have all of my children and my wonderful husband.
{2}I have a computer where I can make many wonderful friends and communicate with them.
{3}The first, I should have said, but He knows, is that I know the Lord.
{4}I live in the same town as four of my five siblings and get to see them often. (;Though, that may be a whine and a shine ;)
{5}And, I woke up this afternoon, my husband having let me sleep really late.
I have more blessings, I'm sure, as do we all.
Marilyn, I sympathize with you on the IBS. That is something I've had for years and I still forget to manage it and get miserable sometimes.
Most days, though, I make sure I have at least four 32 oz. glasses of water and take or eat (in my food) about 20 grams of fiber and I'm okay. Otherwise, it gives me fits.
The only time I didn't take fiber and didn't have problems was when I was fasting. But then, I was still drinking water.
The extra water and fiber helps with the headaches, as well.
Today is my Aunt's birthday.
I felt good enough to exercise and work today.
I am behind on writing and horribly busy :(
I spoke with friends today, always a bonus!
