Prayer Chain, Link 6

The first, second, third, fourth and fifth links of the prayer chain are all still valid, as are the links spidering off from them.

I would like to begin our prayer requests, from now on, with prayers for our troops, government and leaders WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for them to be enlightened and wise.

I've been horrendously busy but I am going to try and find some of the prayer requests here on gather that have not yet been added to the chain. I also need to post a new Praise Report... but thinking perhaps that might be a monthly deal.

In the meantime, until y'all pop up with some fresh requests, enjoy this! It's another tidbit I found while trying to find a copy of that prayer card mentioned on the fifth link.

Prayer Warriors, put on the whole armor of God.

Please keep Michelle and her baby and Sharon's husband in prayer. Also Yvonne, whose ulcer keeps acting up for no apparent reason!

Don't forget the people of Pakistan, either... what horrible news to start the day with.

This is a nice thing you are doing, Lydia. You might keep Amy in mind. She is better, but has a long way to go for complete recovery.

You are right Danielle. I am amazed as I gather the need for prayer. I have begun to pray the instance that I sense that someone is in the need of pray. Because William has asked for prayer for Amy. Let us Pray: Dear God ruler and maker of there is, you who sent your son into the world to reconcile humankind with you were bound before your throne of grace and ask that you will grant every blessing that Amy needs right now. We do not know Amy, but you dear God know everything there is to know about
amy. You know what her needs are and we pray that you will pour out your grace and mercy upon Amy right now, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thanks again for doing this. My Dad is having a stress test tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. because he had a suspicious cardiac episode last week -- he's 71 and has heart disease. Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks!

prayers for my son Chris and his girlfriend Jena who are getting married on Friday morning. Chris is 19 and his girl is 17 and still in high school. My son is active duty in the Army.
They have been together for 2 years and are going to marry. Please pray that they have a successful happy marraige and get through the in's and out's of life happily and as one.

Just heard from my Dad and all went well. He won't have the official results until later, but the stress test administrator said there were no "red flags". Thanks for praying!

I agree we need to arm ourselves with the armor of God and kneel to His Mercy and Grace when we pray for others, I will keep the list running and pray for each one nightly. I myself need prayer as well - my sinuses have gotten so infected -- again -- that I have lost my sense of smell and taste, and doc is talking surgery again and this one is a more dangerious and tricky one and evolves removing some of the cartilige in my nose---so please pray for me too and I thank you.

Tracey, my prayers are with your son and Jena. I hope that they are doing this out of love, as my late wife and I did when we were both 19. Linda and I only had 11 1/2 years together before she passed away but it was a wonderful time for both of us. I hope Jena's parents are as favorable in their thinking about this as you seem to be. That kind of support will be a big help to the kids, especially early on.

Sherrie, I will certainly pray that the official results for your dad are as encouraging as the preliminary comment, if not more so.
