Bhawana, that's cute!!! Resolutions can be difficult to keep, can't they, my friend?
I needed to stop by and to thankyou for your card!!! You intuition when it comes to me is astounding. You and autumn! I love the both of you dearly. Do to the love love and support I have recieved from my friends here, esp. those who are very intuned to me for reasons beyond my understandings....I actually went over to a friends house with other friends for a love christmas meal and a rousing good time. I never would have done this last year. Not ever. thankyou....I love You so...Peg
I am thrilled, my dear, that you went to a friend's house for Christmas. I love that for you!!!! How wonderful!
You are so welcome for the card! Love to you (our Buddy) and all of your dear animals. :)
Pat:
Thanks so much! Great to see you! I appreciate your comments!
Very good point, David! :)
I'm with you, Linda. I don't make them either. I find it better to just stay quiet about what I plan to improve and work into it at a reasonable pace. :)
Thank you for stopping by!
To OUR success.......Bob
How exciting for you! Congratulations, too! That's quite an accomplishment!
I don't either, Virginia. Something about a broken dish that bothers me. I have to let it go!!! Thanks for your visit.
But the idea of breaking dishes in relation to New Years dredged up forgotton memories..
we used to do that when growing up..my mother ,from the 'old europe' Portugese,
insisted that old dishes be thrown into the street ...we thought she was nuts..every New Year's Eve at midnight the same..until we got a bit older or maybe because she ran outta old crockery and dishes ,I imagine..
thank you for the memory...actually the idea of destroying dishes or crockery to signify the end of old ,getting rid of any bad spirits...(or in some cases the rationale is not completely understood ) is a universal concept to many ancient cultures
I truly appreciate you having shared this! I am thrilled to know of this custom, and even more thrilled that the haiku awakened these memories for you. Thank you so much for having taken the time to have shared this with me.
