Some people think I'm a character. By that I mean they think I'm "different." But aren't we all a little strange. My kids tell people all the "strange things" I do. But don't kids think all parents are "strange?"
My doctor says, "I'm creative."
That's just his way of calling me strange. Eccentric maybe would be a nice way to put it.
Are you creative, strange, or eccentric?
Tell us how you are ecentric.
Here's mine: I am sensitive. I hear voices. I feel presenses. I am empathic.
If you haven't read my ghost story on Elizabeth, that might explain best. I see . . .

My hotlink may not be working, so if you'd like to read a true ghost story, please cut and paste.
How about you?

I see and hear things.... I talk to animals... and they 'talk' back.
I am creative, emphatic, sympathetic, the person that everyone else (complete strangers) tell their life stories too.
For Christmas Eve doings yesterday... I couldn't decide whether to wear the red reindeer sox or the green santa sox - I wore one of each. (And told everyone I had another pair just like it at home!!!)
I drove a flaming car 55 miles home from my sisters. Blew out the catalytic converter - was shooting 2 to 3 foot flames at times (according to my daughter following me in another vehicle). While my two granddaughters, who insisted on staying in vehicle with me - grandson bailed at first opportunity - sat in the back playing "if I survive and you don't - give my ---- to so and so". NIIIICCCCEEE!
I did go so far as to instruct all to unbuckle seatbelts - if we had to bail, didn't want anyone getting stuck behind. One granddaughter instructed 'someone' to grab her taco bell food. Daughter in passenger seat was worried about gas tank blowing - I calmly informed her 'its on the other side.' Both of us full well knowing it goes all the way across - behind the on fire converter!!! (I found out later it is plastic - which may have deterred my bravery had I known).
I just couldn't see leaving my beautiful new used car on the side of the road on Christmas Eve with all the crazies out and about and miles from home, on fire, no less.
I know I am stubborn (my Aries heritage).
I was also raised to believe I could do or be anything I wanted to be - to not be afraid of anything - to make my own path - as someone above stated, made me a bit of a misfit, but I am ME! And I do love ME!
Carol, be yourself and be proud!
Welcome welcome all you "different" people. What fun would it be if we weren't?
i take my doors off to feel safe....wear socks, not shoes....jammies to the store, sleep in my fancy christian dior dress, live outside, not in....I WIN!!! :)
I keep hunting for that group of weird people I can fit into, but so far I've been too weird for any of them.
I'd say penni wins this round.
Carol, i am sensing a new group here...the "STRANGE ONES" gonna start it,lol???
