Thanks all for playing!
Shannon I hope your holiday is a great one! Will be dining at the chinese restaurant tomorrow, we'll be starved an hor after we leave!! lol I'll put a roast on before we leave to have for dinner tomorrow night.
Merry Merry Christmas and give all your wonderful pooches a big ol hug from me will ya?
Haven't played in awhile and had a few min so thought I'd try.
I'd marinate the turkey in the balsamic vinaigrette and capers and roast it in the oven with a little salt and pepper. I'd cook the sweet potatoes and mash them and stuff the fresh ravoili with them and sprinkle a little (extra ing 1) parm over them. I'd make a spanich and mushroom salad (extra ing 2 and 3) and use some more of the balsamic vinaigrette for a dressing.
Joan, sounds fabulous! Thanks for playing ;)
Capers are pickled in brine. You usually find them next to the olives.
Merry Christmas, Shannon. I hope you have a great one.
I haven't forgotten the designated dinner. I just have to find a night for it. Won't take long and will let you know.
No dancing tonight. You have a wonderful Christmas!
2. fresh ravioli
3. sweet potato
4. capers
5. balsamic vinaigrette
I would puree the sweet potatoes and blend in a little cream (1). Lightly cook the ravioli in water. Make a marinade of capers, rosemary(2) balsamic vinaigrette, garlic (3) and oil and marinate the turkey. Roast turkey and slice. Serve ravioli with sweet potato culee topped with roasted rosemary turkey.
Thinnly slice the sweet potatoes and deep fry into chips, remove from oil and salt immediatley.
Place the shredded turkey at the bottom of a bowl, place several of the ravioli on top and drizzle the balsamic glaze over it. Place a few of the sweet potato chips around as garnish.
Throw the capers down the garbage disposal...sorry there is no place in my kitchen for those briny little things...hehe
Fresh ravioli drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, capers and locatelli cheese
Second course:
Sliced turkey breast on a bed of fresh sorrel with balsamic vinaigrette if desired
Baked sweet potato with butter, salt and pepper
What, are you sick, Dorine? No scathing comments to make?
