Actually I got mine early. My oldest daughter called after not talking to me for seven months and apoligized for what happen.

Got my self a truly wonderful dog from the Animal Shelter and made delightful friendships while doing so

The best for last; a friend who I worked with before we got laid off, called me yesterday and invited me and my dog for a small family christmas dinner at her house, otherwise I would been home alone for christmass

Children are what it's all about...they need our love! And don't forget about us adults who are alone and need one, too. My ultimate gift would be having a someone special in my life so I don't have to be one of those adults who's alone all the time.

Of course to be perfectly honest here, it would have to be for peace to come to the world, and for no one to be going hungry or homeless, for everyone to be with their families , for those that are sick to be healed and for those that are grieving to be
solaced. other than that I don't really want much, but I will put it in the next comment line.

I would just hope that everyone has family and friends to spend the holidays with. I am blessed to have a large family that gets together for all the major holidays.

You have a wonderful thought Marco, and as that is taken , my wish for all, is world united in the search to achieve reasonable ways to for all to have a comfortable life, and get along with love as the bottom line, while doing it.

Personal, to have my children and grandchildren and I, reunited, and for my children to accept that I am disabled, and I am hurting because they expect me to behave as if am still in my early thirties. I could see my grandchildren, and not be alone every Christmas and Birthday and Mother's Day, drawing on memories to know I was a loving mother, and not what they insist they see now, someone who needs help, and love, they are what I love, and not be so selfish to not give it, and want me to go to a home. To make them feel better. I pray for them to grow up everyday. God Bless us all, and Love your parents no matter what shape they are in, they loved you, and you are going where they are every day. Marco, I nominate you for Santa Claus. To think about kids while living in this self-centered world is very loving. Maybe the rest of us can at least give a wink, a smile, a friendly compliment or some kindness or affection to the kids we see around. They are so trusting and vulnerable in spite of so many of us adults being cold and intolerant.

There is no doubt in my mind that world peace would be my ultimate gift.

excellent question. if i could have any gift, it would be for my great grandma to have been with us this christmas. my grandmother misses her so much and this will be a hard christmas to get through without her.

My wish Marco would be to be pain free. I have been in constant pain, and I mean every waking hour of every day, since the winter of 1980 and would like to know what it feels like not to have it anymore. That would be an awesome gift!

Everyone's wishes are excellent...I guess mine would be, for everyone to understand the real meaning of the holidays we celebrate. We are the ones who make it either too commercial or--whatever.
I'd especially like my kids to see this; for although we haven't had much, the asking never stops, and we still have a bit more than others.

You know, the ultimate gift for me would be peace on earth. Now I realize that peace on earth is an over used phrase, but just give a thought for a minute. We listen to the news and hear of war, hostility, and violence, just to name a few things. Imagine a world with no chaos but only peaceful existence. I think it would be music to my ears.

My ultimate Christmas wish would be for a very large and nice house with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, a large living room and dining room, and a big finished basement. Then I would have room for all of our kids and grandkids to gather here for holidays or vacations and we could all enjoy spending time with each other. Also, then I would have space to invite friends to our house for dinner or a party. And I would have enough space to contain the pets out of the way while we were entertaining company.
And would a housekeeper to keep the house clean be asking too much? Ok, forget the housekeeper then!

I would love to have financial security and know that we'll be able to buy our first home soon instead of just HOPE. My son deserves a back yard and a home, and right now, we don't have that for him. So that would be my ultimate gift...a home of our own and financial security
