What Book Should Santa Bring You?

Money is no object because it is Santa for goodness sake. As long as you have been good this year, there should be a little something under the tree for you. So, what books would you want Santa to bring you?

I know at least one member of my family is making another trip to the mall and if they haven't yet and are still looking for an idea, I would love to have:

Water for Elephants By Sara Gruen

 Of course, there are only about 2000 other books that would make me happy as well...LOL

So, let's hear it, what can Santa bring?

Dr. Phil's Relationship Rescue....my husband and I lived in two different countries for two years, and I think we need a little help from Dr. Phil in getting those date nights started.
Oh I have that book & it is an awesome book! You have got to get Santa to bring you that book!

I've been a very good boy this year. Okay, so it's my lie...I get to tell it my way! I think santa should bring me a Bank Savings Book...filled with lots and lots of money!!! I don't read books, so at least give me the cash to buy Books On Tape.
I would love to get Planet Earth by BBC - it is on video, but they also have it available in book form.....

I love cookbooks so any cook book I don't have would be a welcome addition to my shelves. Hope you get the book you're wishing for.

Big, "coffee table" books filled with art reproductions. Like Picasso, Monet and Rembrandt.

I am re-reading Earth Abides.
My son asked for a copy, and I ordered two. He is in Iraq, a country whose social system and infrastructure has collapsed, similar to the story in Stewart's book.
At least in Earth Abides, Ish didn't have to put up with neighbors trying to kill him.

Karen, I did like Water for Elephants, but it is a much lighter read than I like. The Alchemist really turned me on to Paul Coehlo - in fact, if you dig through my stuff I did a book review on another of his books - The Zahir. Tell Santa to bring you The Alchemist.

Most of my reading is business related, I am a Certified Fraud Examiner, being a CFE you have to ready and study constantly and enjoy it as much as some would enjoy their favorite fiction writer (CFE's catch people cooking books). I would like any one of the following "Investigating by Computer," "Preventing Corporate Embezzlement" or "How to Detect and Prevent Financial Statement Fraud. Not easy reads but very informative!

I have Water For Elephants and it is an awesome book. I haven't finished it yet or I'd send it to you........I would like the book titled "The Pickton Trial" about the Canadian hog farmer/serial murderer, a friend of mine's sister, was one of the murdered victims.

I have given all my children and grandchild a copy of each of my books on child abuse. Hopefully, they will onwe day realize how lucky they were to have a loving family. Many children today take their families for granted.
