ok, this is irritating!!! GRRR!!

ok, i've been a member of gather since Aug 28, 2007. in all that time, i'm pretty sure i've had the same display picture. until today that is. all of a sudden, my picture became "unavailable". i went to the picture, and somebody had flagged it as innapropriately marked!!!!! so for 4 months, nobody has a problem. then *BAM* they flag me and i can't use that picture! i'm TICKED!

now, you gatherites can decide: is it, or is it not, innapropriate?

Its probably because someone got offended that you had boobage showing. Did you mark it as adult content in the beginning? Some people are out to get others. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

no i didn't mark it as adult.. you see this and more if you go to the mall in the summer!!
I never had a problem with it, it was tasteful, and not nudity or anything!

Deeanna,someone did the same thing to Birdee's picture and it was just a head shot. Yours was done tastefully and in no way any worse than others that I have seen.

Apparently they want to keep it G, not pg, not pg 13 ,not pg 17. They may as well let the under 18 crowd in too. Or do They. I heard you had to be 18 to have a Gather account. Well sorry that that happened to you, I have seen a lot worse than cleavage on here.

The picture is a little bit revealing but I don't see what the big deal is that somebody would need to flag it.

No, it's not inappropriate. Toss a mail to support@gather.com -- or if that doesn't work, try sending a mail to one of the Gather staff members directly. Considering it's dangerously close to Christmas, it may take a while to get it unflagged, though.
