There's a new face on Gather and she's just a peach. Her name is Lena Lemieux...but you can find her at owlet.gather. She is one of my very supportive Moms and I would like to introduce you to her. Her Profile on Gather:
- People say I'm:
- Describe Yourself:i tread lightly on this earth my feet have never really touched the ground.i am a bubble of high energy orange with green and purple undertones
- On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:a place to sort out some of the static in my head.
Anyone reading this profile can understand why I bonded with her at once. It was Lena who first came into the class with the makings for bird feeders...and it was Lena who taught the children how to make candle holders.

Today, Lena's little girl came in bearing gifts. The children were all excited to see what was inside the "green" packaging. I was "gobsmacked" to use Magi's words...they are most fitting. There was a beautiful handknit wool scarf in purple, rose and moss green yarn (which I haven't taken off since I received it); some homemade lipbalm; three little picture frames with pictures of my animals (which she must of printed off Gather) and a CD with some of the finest music I know!

Julia

The kids were as excited as I when they saw the gifts...and begged to listen to the Cd. Once the music was on, without a word from me their bodies spontaneously erupted in movement and they started to dance.

Happiness is sharing the gifts of others!
So if you have a chance, stop over and say hello to our newest Gather friend...Lena Lemieux.

Happy Holidays!
Hope you and yours, especially that brilliant son of yours Will who is my good friend, have a great time during the holidays.
JFW
the kids look so happy!
Thanks Madame Donna and Deb for dropping by this evening.
In the afternoon class things went completely different. It was a regular day until one of the kids asked what we were going to do with the left over bird seed and peanut butter from the birdfeeding activity we did several weeks ago. I asked them what we should do...and one said, "Well it's been snowing forever, maybe we should make more." And so in the afternoon, after journals were finished they could make more bird feeders.
On that first day, meeting all new folks, folks I want to feel comfortable and relaxed, I too feel the need to be relaxed...to let the fears go...and so barefoot I go.
Blessings I heap on you and yours during this Holiday Season.
I have no idea how to visit your friend's page without a hyper-link.
