I can't sleep.  I took a sleeping pill and a tranquiler.  I just bought a new car, Christmas shopping, and a new baby coming today.  So I got up and wrote some on Gather.  I'm wide awake.  Help!!!  I can't take anything else.  Tomorrow or today, I have 2 doctor appointments and then, up to see the baby.  It's an hour and half drive.  Please there must be a cure.

If you can't sleep after all those drugs, it wasn't meant to e. I'm not one to give much advice here - obviously i am still up too. My husband keeps falling asleep with the remote in his hand, then he wakes up, insists he wasn't sleeping and rewinds the show. And it starts all over again. he got mad at me for nagging him to lie down and go to sleep.

Have I bored you enough to put you to sleep yet?

I can't sleep either. Lack of sleep in a bipolar person can get ugly. I hope my meds kick in soon!

The stress of everything that is happening, that will do it.. I lay wake at night lots of nights thinking tthings over. Thing when I get up I forgot everything I thought about..

Carol, I'm not one to give too much advice about sleeping, as that is a problem for me too. I either sleep too little or way too much. I'll be praying that you won't fall asleep while driving! That would be tragic.

That sucks Carol...wow, a sleepimng pill and a tranquilizer...I would have been out cold! Please don't take anything else though...my brother's girlfriends sister in law didn't wake up last Saturday...they think she mixed up her medication....scary. Hope you figure it out. Maybe you are just a little stressed and excited because of all that's going on right now, Hopefully it will pass.

Sometimes I can't sleep, but it would take too much energy to go downstairs to the computer. A better man than I.

Don't take anything else though. Just try and get to sleep. You need it!

Start thinking about how you HAVE to stay awake no matter what and then you will get tired LOL, i had problems with insomnia, the doc prescribed a sleep deprived eeg and i was supposed to stay awake the entire 24 hours before. As soon as i knew I had to stay awake i had a much harder time doing it!!!
