Does anyone remember Time Out dolls? They were dressed in little kids clothes and were
made to stand in a corner and look like a child in time out.
We bought one at a yard sale this summer, and put it in the living room the day the grandchildren were to visit. When they first saw it, it scared Gabriel, and he hid behind the dining room table. I had not meant to scare the grandchildren, just to tease them a little bit by telling them they had a friend visiting. I coaxed Gabriel out from behind the table by telling him that The boy's name was Gorgy Porgy and he had to be in time out because he kissed the girls and made them cry.
From that day on, Gabriel has been infatuated with Georgie Porgy. He wants to know when he will become real, when he will finally be out of time out, why didn't we bring Gorgy Porgy camping with us, etc.
When I give the children ideas for nice dreams before they go to bed, Gabriel's must always include him going somewhere with Gorgy Porgy.
I am glad to say that the infatuation is beginning to wear off, but Gabriel thought he was just hilarious pretending to be Gorgy Porgy. I had planned on getting rid of the doll after teasing the grandchildren with it, but now because Gabriel is attached, I am probably going to h
ave to keep it FOREVER!

But, your grandson is adorable.
Oh and thanks for stopping by my article. To answer your question... yes. I do stop being busy at least twice a week. I make myself have nothing to do and just sit here on the computer or sleep or both on and off. Have to take time for ourselves to stay sane.
