The movie, Mr Brooks starring Kevin Costner, William Hurt, Demi Moore and Dane Cook, is a fascinating thriller with plenty of twists and turns, to keep you guessing till the very end. The movie starts off, where you meet Mr Brooks (Costner) in the Bathroom arguing with his, "alter-ego" Marshall (played by Hurt). The argument is simple, Marshall wants to murder someone, and even tells Brooks who he wants to kill. Brooks doesn't want to do it, but eventually agrees, which results in showing that Brooks is actually the "Thumb Print Killer". A serial killer, who hasn't murdered in a two year span.
The movies continues to show how desperate, character Tracey Atwood (Moore), is to figure out who this "thumb print killer" is, while dealing with a messy divorce, that puts her job as a police woman in jepordy.
Cook's role as "Mr Smith" was flawless, as a wannabe-serial-killer. He's the one who watched the murder of a couple in the beginning. He approached Brooks, at his office and asked him to teach him how to kill. Brooks, of course, didn't want to do it, but after viewing the evidence Smith had on him, and discussing things over with Marshall, he agreed to do it.
Performances all around were fantastic. Especially between actors Cosnter and Hurt. Who played off eachother so well, it truly brings the audience drawn into it, that much more.
This is certainly a must see, for all fans of thriller-mystery type films.

Thanks for checking out my review. :D I didn't get the urge to check under my bed or anything from watching it, but I still got very drawn into the story line.
