Should I spend my points, or save them?

I finally have enough points to get a $10 gift card. It took me quite a long time to reach it, but I finally have. So I'm just wondering, is there some benefit to saving up until I have $25, $50, or $100? Or should I just spend it now?

For some reason, It takes me a long time to get points... and to be honest, I'm kinda impatient... so I'll probably just go ahead and get a $10 Borders card, unless you guys tell me there is some kind of advantage to saving up... well, is there?

Is is a better value to save until $50 though? I love to read, and so I think I would by a Borders card even if I had $50 worth of points.

I didn't wait, but then again It's three days later and I've got nearly 200 points again (and the first 625 took months).
I'm impatient too, I say go for the ten and comment like mad until you get another ten.
They're not accruing interest, Amy. I suggest you spend them. I usually wait until I have enough for at least a $25 one though. You also never know when/if they'll be discontinued!

Thanks for the comment J. Is there a good reason to though? I would love to log in to Gather and see my points in the thousands... but other than that, I can't think of a reason to save them.

50.00 dollars is the best deal but not by much. Do what makes you happy. I cash in at fifty.

I say, do whatever you want!! If you accumulate points slowly, give yourself a reward now and get the $10 card. I got a $10 one the first time around. Now I have over 9000 points and I don't want to spend any points!!
